The IRS allows you to claim a tax deduction based on the value of your donation up to $500. If the value exceeds $500, then you are eligible to take a tax deduction based on the greater amount. Charitable deductions of vehicles valued at more than $5,000 are based on the appraised value and are exempted from this requirement. For more information, please Contact Us. How and when will my vehicle be picked up?
We work with highly professional licensed, insured, and bonded towing companies. Once Miles Ahead Donations receives your completed donation form, you will be contacted by a towing company to make pick up arrangements. Normally, we will be able to pick up your donation within two (2) days. You do not need to be present when your car is picked up.
